Cardinals

Today I filled the bird feeders in my girlfriend's front yard. I got the stuff with feed with nuts and berries in it, because nothing's too good for our random wild birds. I thought it would take a while before the birds found the food, but a few hours after filling the thing, I come back and find these two digging in. The brownish one is the female, the male is red.

p.s.- these are beautiful birds, but louisville still sucks.
